Reasons Why You Need a Denim Polo

If you own a denim jacket, then you'll definitely love the denim polo more after you read this post. And if you don't have this multi-purpose polo yet, I know you'll end up planning on getting one...soon. 

Denim is like the universal piece in fashion. Whatever the piece may be, as long as its denim, you won't ever have a problem of finding anything to go with it. 

A denim polo is my most favorite denim piece. Most might've chosen a pair of jeans over it but well, I was never the jeans type. 

So here are the reasons why I love denim polos and why you should have one too. 

It matches with almost anything

Denim is like the swiss army knife of fashion. One piece will go with almost any color and print you have in your closet. If you're looking for a safe but smart buy, denim should be first on your list. 

You can use it gazillion times to create different and equally unique outfits. You can even stop worrying about your shoes because whatever the design is; pointed stilettos, strappy flats, or street style sneakers, it will still compliment your denim outfits.

You can Dress it up or Dress it down

You can wear it in the most casual way by wearing it with shorts, jeans and/or shirt. You can even go ruggedly cool if you want. What goes with your denim jeans also goes with your denim polo.

You can also look preppy and playful by pairing it with pastel colored and printed skirts and shorts. Or you can leave it unbuttoned and use it as a blazer on top of your bright printed dresses. If you're planning on going on a date you can put on that sexy little black dress and slip on those stilettos. Just throw that denim over your shoulder to pull that sophisticated look. Don't forget your smokey make-up to complete your look.

Wear it as a Blazer or Polo

Because a denim polo is not as thick and heavy as a jacket, I can wear it as a top and easily accessorize it. I can partner it with my skirts, shorts, jeans or even leggings.
